 Day 15: 2020-10-26 the living room mirror

Today I was using after effect and using the rotoscope tool on one of the final mirror scene where I am looking in the mirror and I do not see a reflection but then my reflection starts walking as what it looks behind me.

This is what I am getting rid of (the black). The black part that you see is my reflection I am using the rotoscope tool to get rid of.

Here is the rotoscope tool getting rid of everything except my reflection free walking in the background.

This is a main problem I have which is something I didnt realize when editing this is that my reflection is infront of everything because I didnt get rid of the right side of the mirror. To fix this problem I am using the rotoscope tool to get rid of the right side of the mirror.

Here is the process of the reflection I am trying to get rid of.

As you can see this is a rough copy as you can see parts of my reflection hand still showing and my left side of my body is very sharp.

Another problem I had is that the background picture I used to replace the black is much darker so I had to find a way to change the brightness in after effect.

Here is the updated rotoscope tool now highlighting the left side of the mirror so my reflection will look like a real reflection.

Tomorrow I will be continuing to soft the edges of my body and reflection using the rotoscope tool
