Day 7: 2020-10-07 Troubleshooting at home

Today Is the first time using Adobe premiere on my new laptop and also the first time working on my horror movie at home. My laptop is the dell inspiron 2-1 7000 series and what I thought could handle Adobe programs, but when I worked on my project I have experienced Screen tare, lagging, freezing, glitches and max throttle power (The playback resolution was set to 1/4).

When I opened up the program some clips was not able to be located which did set me back a couple of minutes locating the scenes and re-editing the clips.

On the clips that I edited, when playing on premiere with 1/4 resolution premiere would just freeze the frame and lag up to 4 seconds until it responds to the keyboard and pauses the clip.

To fix this problem for next Wednesday I will attempt to use my old laptop that I do not use anymore due to other problems my Alienware 15 r4 which should be able to run all adobe programs as it did many times before.

Here is an example of the clip that went missing (The gap) and the scenes that couldnt be located

This clip is the part where everything will freeze and lag when playing this scene, when watching it will either freeze this scene until after the clip finished by 4 seconds or it will black the clip until it ended after 4 seconds after.

More clips that had trouble working

I will be working on my old laptop until I have a solution on how to get this laptop to work for adobe.

(I bought this laptop to mainly use adobe programs so I will be coming up with a plan on how to get this laptop working for adobe or how I can replace it with another laptop)
